If you are a consumer or private individual making an artwork purchase from outside the UK or the EU, you are not entitled to cancel a contract with us according to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, unless your cancellation pertains to a contract violation by us.
If you are making a purchase through a UK-based VAT-registered business, please get in touch with us to ascertain whether we are including the full VAT (20%) in the price or if the sale is conducted under the margin scheme. It's important to note that most of the artworks we sell fall under the margin scheme, which means you won't be able to reclaim VAT on your purchase. Comprehensive information on how this scheme functions is available on the HMRC website.
You possess the right to cancel a purchase from us for any reason, starting from the moment we receive payment for an artwork (which marks the formation of the contract between you and us) up to 14 days after the delivery of the artwork or 14 days after you or a third party, whom you have instructed, collects an artwork from us, if applicable. This 14-day duration is referred to as the 'cooling off period.'
Therefore, if you have a change of heart or decide not to accept or retain an artwork during this cooling-off period, kindly inform us. Your decision to cancel the purchase must be communicated to us in writing.
