Allen Jones- Red Lamp

Having previously worked on a project at London Design Festival, the artist and designer teamed up again to create this piece, inspired by Jones' Aram Designs floor lamp from 1985. Combining contemporary practices and materials with traditional techniques, a mass-produced domestic object is transformed into an artwork.

Produced in a limited edition of 50, each lamp is individually spray-painted and screen-printed by hand. Signed and numbered by the artist on an accompanying card and presented in a special screen-printed box.
